South Africa will be preparing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup from 2009 till June 2010. Companies and businesses will be gearing for products and services that will distribute during 2010.

There will be many new concepts and products especially prepared for this event. Such an example is during September 2008, PIRMA AFRICA launched a world first ostrich leather soccer boot for 2010

2010 will be a good year to visit South Africa as it will be prepared to prime and there be much options to choose from.

You may need to consider the following if you are going to visit before or after the world cup?

BEFORE the 2010 Worldcup
Key places or businesses will be under renovation and preparation work and decide to close. This might result in shortage of availablity or companies not functioning at best (June 2010).

AFTER the 2010 Worldcup
Business might be closed after the Worldcup (August 2010) to take a break from the mad rush and tourism.
